NEED {the "Away We Go" soundtrack}

Last night Evan & I went to see "Away We Go" with John Krasinski (Jim!) & Maya Rudolph. Talk about a cute indie flick with a great soundtrack!

In the film, dating couple Burt and Verona set out on a search for the perfect place to raise their baby girl, who is due in three months. "Away We Go" is a sweet look at the hopes and fears of expectant parents. My favorite line came towards the end, when Burt makes Verona promise that if he dies young, she will tell their daughter that he died an honorable death rescuing 500 Chechnian orphans. So adorable!

Like most indie films, "Away We Go" has a must-have soundtrack! Lots of Alexi Murdock, some George Harrison, Bob Dylan, The Stranglers, and The Velvet Underground. Alexi's voice and acoustic guitar make me smile and melt at the same time, if that makes any sense. ♥

Have you seen "Away We Go" yet? What did you think?
