LOVE {Crate & Barrel Treats}

I am very excited to report that Evan & I finnnnnnally made it down to Crate & Barrel yesterday. We had several wedding gifts to exchange, a bunch of gift cards to spend, and a 10% off registry completion coupon to use. Woohoo! It was like Christmas in our house last night. :)

Calphalon ® Contemporary Non-Stick Cookware Set with Bonus, $299


Aren't they gorgeous? They're sturdy-feeling but not heavy, the lids are dishwasher safe (not that we have a DW, but still a perk,) all of the pieces have stay-cool handles, and they match the Calphalon wok and griddle pan we already own and love. Score! The bonus 12" everyday pan with lid is my favorite so far. Makes me want to throw together some yummy enchiladas for dinner tonight. Mmm.


Spa Bath Caddy, on sale for $49.95!


This gorgeous bamboo caddy matches the other Crate & Barrel bath accessories Allyson & Ricardo gave us for our wedding, it fits just perfectly in the corner of our bathroom, and it even came assembled. LOVE it!


White Kai Noodle/Soup Bowls, $6.95 each
These bowls are the perfect size and shape for Evan's breakfast, which usually consists of rice, eggs over-easy, chilies and basil from our garden, garlic, and Sriracha. We used them for the first time last night when I made mac & cheese with sun dried tomato/feta chicken sausage, fresh tomatoes, basil, and Thai chilies from our garden. De-li-cious. Evan said I should have taken a picture for my "blog-thingy." Thanks, husband.

We had one of these when I was a kid, and I vividly remember loving it. Can't wait to make a yummy grilled chicken salad with berries, candied walnuts, blue cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette this week.

Shun Ultimate Set of 4 Steak Knives, $299.95


These knives are a very generous wedding gift from my Grandma & Grandpa Janney. They match the Shun/Ken Onion knives my Dad & Melissa got us a couple months ago. Talk about uh-may-zing, gorgeous pieces of art! Love, love, love!


We also got some fun little things- biscuit cutters, a pastry blender, a 9.5" non-stick tart pan, a utensil pot clip (so we don't need a spoon rest anymore, yay!) and some non-stick reusable BBQ skewers. I plan to use the biscuit cutters and pastry blender to make some delicious peach biscuits this week. I'll post the recipe next. Baking with fresh peaches= HEAVEN!
