INSPIRED {by satoko + alex's wedding}

I'm finding myself very inspired by Satoko + Alex's wedding in Napa, California. Satoko created all the wedding stationery, including the invitation with perforated RSVP cards and the silkscreened cloth invite, both enclosed in a chipboard envelope. Iconic ranch animals, such as roosters and cows, inspired the design motif. She used antique tea canisters as vases for the flowers, and mismatched napkins and plates {which she found at local flea markets,} for place settings. Too cute.

LOVE {robin's egg blue}

For over a year now, Evan + I have been brainstorming which colors to splash on our drab, white walls. Our house desperately needs some bright moments here and there, but which colors should we choose? So many options. All I know is that if I had an adorable attic, this is exactly what I would want it to look like... LOVE the robin's egg blue and white combo. Makes me want to curl up with a book and read/nap the day away!

NEED {fingerless mittens}

Ok, so maybe I don't NEED these quite yet, considering it's been in the 90s and hundreds here in San Diego {yikes!} Even still, I can definitely imagine myself wearing some cute fingerless gloves whilst doing my Christmas shopping, drinking a mug of hot cocoa on our patio on a January morning, or while driving to work on a brisk winter morning. Since our winters are so mild here in SoCal, fingerless is the only way to go.
